We have attended two shows so far and we all loved it!! My favorite was the fiesta one. We can't wait to go see the Halloween one and the Christmas show.
American “Doll” Girl
The adorable marionettes and their talented masters came to the Barnsdall Art Park to help celebrate the reopening of Frank Lloyd Wright's famed Hollyhock house, the only UNESCO World Heritage site located in Los Angeles. Such a charming, fresh and child friendly play with lots of cute detail work and proximity. Dolls can be creepy but these puppets are darling. They have the magical power to make the outside world disappear for a few minutes and to show us what a wonderful world this could be.

My mom gave me a Bob Baker Marionettes party for my 6th birthday. It was pure magic for me. A black cat came out drenched in diamonds and danced to Monroe singing Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend. She sat on me and I was over the moon. Took the grandkids to the theater today - almost 60 years later. I told the story to the staff and they said follow me. They pulled out that black kitty and I burst into tears. Joy! My grandkids enjoyed the show as much as I did! They still give you ice cream after the show. The whole experience was Fabulous!!

Amazing marionette shows! Really cool inside the theater! Sets and music are great. You can buy a ticket for a chair or criss cross applesauce on the floor. Puppets interact with the floor sitters! Nice gift shop. Birthdays are recognized.Ice cream after the show. Very covid safe - bring a cloth mask! Great for all ages!
