Fantastic venue!!! Great place to see a show in an intimate setting. I was there recently for the Melissa Etheridge concert which was amazing and felt like a personal invitation concert. Great access and location and beautiful architecture and landscaping. I hope more popular artists choose this venue to perform at!

A fabulous venue. The sound is amazing. This concert Michael Franti and Spearhead was absolutely the best. He gets his fans on their feet almost the whole concert. Every seat is terrific.

We went to see Billy Childs as part of the Angel City Jazz festival. It was a wonderful show. The things that he is able to do on the piano is incredible. Dianne Reeves stole the show with her amazing voice. Alexander Gideon's spoken word poetry electrified the crowd. However, whoever you used as your parking company for this show, needs to be reconsidered. They were rude, confused, and unimaginative. I was at the Ford just three weeks ago and had a pleasant experience with the parking attendants. But the show was so good, the parking attendants could not spoil the night.

Checked out the Flypoet Summer Classic Spoken Word and Music Showcase. What a fun event at a So Cal landmark that was just taken over by the LA Phil after an extensive remodel. The LA Phil also just took over the Hollywood Bowl across the 101 freeway. I've gone to this event the last 9 years so I can really see and hear the difference. The people with the LA Phil relly care about the quality of the guest experience and it shows. Now that the LA Phil is booking the space I'm looking forward to some fantastic performances by some world class artists. And just like the bowl picnicking is encouraged as part of the outdoor experience. Check out the photos of the original theater in the hallways on the way to the bathrooms it's worth the time to see old LA and what the area looked like before and during construction.

Hi Silvia! To answer your question -- yes we do allow strollers and wagons inside. When you come through the front gates you will take the pathway that leads to the plaza/elevators. Thanks for your question! Hope to see you this weekend for our Día de los Muertos events! Best, Your Friends at the Ford :)
First time I went there was in the late 80' 2nd time was recently to see a greta van fleet. .a lot has changed for the better nice place to watch an open concert great seats any where 1500 hundred seats? Something like that. .. .just a coincidence that it happened to be there. I agree just go on their website. They will keep you informed of who's playing. I hope that helped
No payment for tables around the venue. They're free community property. Get there early to enjoy a picnic. You can also eat at your seats while event is going on. Have Fun!
As there are not homes close by shows tend to run later than the Bowl. Could run till 11
Open early I got there at 5:00 and was open
You will most likely be okay. You're probably already on top of this, but you should bring somd sort of ear protection for him. It can get pretty loud.
Yes. Check the website for box office hours.
You can take your own drinks to the seats and they sell alcohol there too.
It does sound early but if he wants to be in the very front row and to get there and relax and enjoy himself with some friends it's not as crazy as it sounds although it sounds like it's several hours earlier than it needs to be he's just super excited. Too bad the show was rescheduled! People said I don't think the gates will be open much earlier than that although undoubtably they'll be a line for opening up to the gate he sounds like a young kid let him go have fun!
Do you remember the date? Several different organizations put on drum circles at the Ford every summer
I'm so sorry that I missed that one
Quality snack bar type healthy food, which you take to tables in a small plaza.
$10 for stacked parking @ the Amphitheater. There is also non-stacked parking accessible via a free shuttle that's off-site a short distance from the venue.
Yes, kids are welcome here. But, you should check that the show you are going to see is appropriate for your children.
If you need a seperate seat you will. If you bring your stroller and there's place to put it then you won't (Need another ticket)
No, you do not need reservations to dine at the cafe.
Not sure. It was $1 when we went for summer World fun, for a regular parking. I'm sure it's the same for handicapped. But not sure if the price varies based on the type of event.
