It does sound early but if he wants to be in the very front row and to get there and relax and enjoy himself with some friends it's not as crazy as it sounds although it sounds like it's several hours earlier than it needs to be he's just super excited. Too bad the show was rescheduled! People said I don't think the gates will be open much earlier than that although undoubtably they'll be a line for opening up to the gate he sounds like a young kid let him go have fun!

The gates usually don't open until 2 hours before the show. He should check what time the gates open.
If he has the time, I don't see why not. He should take a snack.
