Depends on the time you go. 5 PM or so you probably won't need reservations. Any time after 6, it would probably be a good idea.
I went a couple weeks ago with no reservation and got right to our table
It's better if you do to secure seating, but it's not mandatory
You don't have to make a reservation, but I always do just to be safe.
