This place has awful business practices and unempathetic staff. Decorations thrown away without warning nor proper signage about dates. Website outdated for years. Heavy digging machinery runs over headstones without protection (other sites use wood slabs, etc. to distribute weight); my mother-in-law's headstone foundation was cracked within six months. I hope for grandma's sake you buried her somewhere more respectful.
Yes, the neighborhood is stunning and surrounded by a very strong energy. Very positive vibes out in that part of the San Fernando Valley. Beautiful sandstone hillsides, very old trees, and loads of movie and tv show history. Roy Rogers used to live right down the street, The Lone Ranger was filmed nearby and lots of other movies & tv shows. Many Native Americans and cowboys also lived and traveled through here. It's very historic. Every day, loads of people hike, walk their dogs, and ride horses right next to the cemetery. For pictures, go to Google Maps or Earth and search for this place. Lots of pictures online.
Your grandma is buried in lovely place. It is covered in trees with incredible mountain views.
I would be willing to take a picture of your grandma's resting place. I'm going there today what's her name?
Lisa, did you ever get the pic you wanted?
