Absolutely perfect!! If you time it right and stay later, they have a DJ and live entertainment for you to enjoy on certain days. Have fun!!
My wife and i got married at the park (Calabasas Creek Park, adjacent to the Cantina, in 1998 and had our reception at Sagebrush (their Famous Sunday Buffet Brunch). There were 45 of us. The mariachis played for us, so we didn’t have to hire anyone for music. It was a perfect day.

This is a perfect place for a B-day lunch but I would of course, call ahead to see if they have any existing reservations. You would most likely have the choice of sitting inside or outside, perhaps even in an outdoor enclosed cabana.
