I've heard People say if you walk around here you will get robbed by homeless. Is that true?

I have not seen or experienced anything like that. This area is adjacent to courthouses, it's crawling with police. Come and have fun.

I actually go to do walks around LA Downtown once or twice a week just for fun and I've never been robbed by a homeless, but there's plenty of them, and sometimes they will be doing drugs in front of everyone

I was waking yesterday about 10 pm ,it seems pretty secure, off course all the time you have be prepared for the unexpected ,this world is dangerous :)

No. There is a pretty good population of homeless people but they're predominantly not violent

I've been scootering around the park a few times. Like others have said, it is adjacent to the courthouse and they have security and sheriffs walking around so its safe. Also there are multiple security cameras around the park so thats helpful too. But theres usually people by the fountain and starbucks. So unless someone is there at midnight where there is no one then I don't know. Best not to venture out so late beyond hours of operations.
