Only drive thru lobby closed after certain time depending on location
It also has to do with how many employees are actually in the building. It certain ppl or enough people haven't showed up on time, they will wait to open their doors.
Yes McDonald's is open 24 hours that does not mean that their Lobby is most of the time for safety reasons of their employees especially late nights they will be closing the door after midnight at most times drive-thru is definitely still open however if you did some somebody leaving the store that probably had a bag in their hand that look like purchase food is more than likely one of the employees leaving for the day or taking one of your lunch breaks
Only the drive though is open.
