My Grandma brought me here for the first time when I was about 12 and I have gone back 3 or 4 times since. The glass blowers are great with all ages at explaining what they are doing. While there is no exhibit space directed at kids only it is a great way to introduce them to the art of glass. It is also down the street from the Heritage Gardens which is very kid friendly and after you go through the glass museum you can walk the park across the street. There is a little fountain you can drink from, a mill, and watch the swans and ducks in the pond behind it.
There is a glass blowing demonstration. There is a film about Sandwich glass history. Otherwise, it's a museum. It's interesting, enjoyable, and educational, but don't touch.
The glass demo is awesome, both for adults and kids! The exhibits are colorful and safe, nothing that supervised kids can harm.
Yes. Very kid friendly. Especially the glass blowing by hand exhibit.
