Really stunning views -(as of 6/30/22 a major portion of the Baird walk is under construction and closed. You cannot get to Town Neck Beach from this spot. Worth a visit for the views. Beach pass required Memorial Day to Labor Day from 8-5. Great spot to hit after 5 to burn off some Ice Cream and see some tremendous nature

5β Worthy!! They are under construction and I cannot wait for this to be finished. What a beautiful spot! Whether you just want to go walk around, this is such a beautiful piece of land to do that. This boardwalk is fantastic. It's not totally safe if you're bringing people on a wheelchair or are not stable. Just be careful when this is finished it will be an enjoyable time to go on it but it does not have railings. This is a little slice of heaven! Very picturesque area. The one thing that I didnβt know about was that there was 2 parking lots. One where the boardwalk begins and the other one is the town parking lot which is right at the end of the walk before the beach area. So we wanted to walk the whole thing so we walked to the other lot where it began and walked from there so we had to back track. No big deal unless you donβt want to backtrack. There is no hand railing so have to pay attention and watch small children carefully itβs a estuary or tidal area. People swimming everywhere and fishing foe blue crabs. Then at the end of rth e boardwalk is the beach. Itβs the bayside so it seemed calm and was a rocky beach not much sand. Every size rock, pebble area, fist size and up. It was 20$ to park at either lot of you donβt have the town pass. They stop collecting at 4. Donβt know when they just stop collecting for the season. Good place to stop on way home when bridges are all jammed and let traffic pass by. They are goin to redo the whole walk eventually so if u want to see the original go soon,,,

So pretty. The boardwalk it's kinda narrow so it's hard to walk when there are people coming opposite way but overall very worth going.

It's free to park at all beaches on Cape Cod offseason including the boardwalk.
Most places closed
The Town of Sandwich only monitors the lot from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. After that time, it is completely free to park.
I don't think so. I didn't see anybody fishing when I was there and outside of a small sliver of water, you actually can't swim in 90% of the beach.
Yes, it cost 20$ to park, time limit was just until the end of the day, and it does include the beach.
