I love what I do and I think it shows in my photos and my client's testimonials. Plenty of people have wrenches, but that doesn't mean they are a general contractor.

The short answer is no. My goal is to get you the best photos from the session. I take many more photos than are probably necessary and some photos are honestly not worth your time. They include photos that are blurry, aren't flattering, or may have other problems.

Yes, I respect your privacy, but please make sure you let me know this. I will send a contract that includes a "model release," so try to remind me to remove this section.

Adults-I need you to smile and look at the camera at all times!!! When your little one(s) throw that perfect smile in between sticking their tongue out, and you are looking the other way or telling them to smile... Most importantly, try to have fun and go with whatever happens. Going in with that attitude will help your family members to have a similar attitude and will translate into better photos. Finally, please try to let me coach you and your children. I am happy to hear your ideas and love when parents' notice that little piece of food on their child's shirt etc., but I am there to get the best out of everyone and get you gorgeous images.

I have monster spray... Seriously though, I have a five year old, and I am patient, flexible, and more than capable of being really silly if necessary. Sometimes those tears or crazy faces they make in their photos, will make you smile down the road. That being said, I'm pretty good at catching that one smile. Treats/snacks are always helpful in trading for behavior.

There is no fee to reschedule due to weather. I try to keep some session times available for rain-outs, and I will be flexible in getting you your photos. Clouds are not a bad thing for outdoor photography, so don't worry if your session has gray skies.

Neutral shades and warm tones work best. Add pops of color that compliment other family members. Solids and textures are your friend. Too many prints, patterns, colors are my enemy. Timeless styles are better than trends. Dress fort the weather-bring extra layers if necessary. Handwarmers or other heating devices can work great when you are not being photographed. Uncomfortable kids make for uncomfortable photos If you plan to display these photos in your home, think about the colors palette of your decor-Matching/complimenting the colors and style of your home with your clothes

A digital gallery will be sent via email to you usually within 3 weeks of the shoot. You will be able to download your photos directly from the gallery. Prints and wall art have variable delivery dates.

I like a natural look with bright, full colors. I usually shoot a combination of posed shots and families/kids doing their thing.

Typically the sessions take place at outside locations. I am happy to provide suggestions and take them as well. I also shoot at families' homes and events.

I live in Sandwich, MA on Cape Cod, and I am happy to travel for your photography needs. If the location of the shoot is more than 30 miles from Sandwich, there may be a transportation fee.
