What kind of “protein” goods do you want? Does it need to be something that doesn’t need heating? Does it need to be in single servings? Could I send 15 oz cans such as Chef Boyardee beefaroni, etc? Thank you!

Hi Gretchen! Thank you for that question. We accept both individual sized proteins (for our food backpack program) and full size proteins (for our food pantry program). We would love the Chef Boyardee 15 oz cans. Those would be great. Other proteins we accept are beans, peanut butter, tuna, canned chicken, etc. Thanks!

The school lunch replacement program uses single serving items that may be eaten without heating. I'm just a volunteer delivery person for the lunch program, but I'm pretty sure they have other programs that could make use of larger sized packages. Contact the office at the info on the website for more information.
