Federal housing is section 8
I know. It's so frustrating. Ive been on the list for over 7 years. My place on list keeps going up and down. And why do we only get our numbers for federal and state housing. If you ask where you are on the section 8 list,,,they can't tell you. After being on a waiting list for over 7 years, I have no idea where I stand with section 8. I'm given my numbers for state and federal but never section 8! Why? Also employees do get friends and family in, and cut everyone on list. Fact!
No, not fair at all, when we are leaving with families over crowded and with friends. also be in homeless shelter for 6 months up too 3 years or more just to be called a place home even on waiting list up to 5 years or more just to be called up on our waiting list application..When others get to be called in before ahead of us and get into Brockton Housing or any Housing Authority in Massachusetts workout waiting much on the list. Also poor ppl who are on disability or disabled has to fully wait of long period time on waiting list to be called in Massachusetts I known for fact..It really sucks.. Sorry.!!
