Easy. Just did both summits with my 9 year old nephew. It was great.
Age and experience does not matter. I've taken children up this hill several times .... In each case, I've taken different side trails, climbed different summits and hiked this park in all four seasons ... I've started with children as young as three who later on became experienced hikers and expert trail guides ... Furthermore, I've led groups of thirty or more 10-12 year old inner city youth with zero outdoor experience without injury or harm ... Remember, bring plenty of water, protein bars, spare dry socks, solid hiking shoes with strong laces and an unwavering optimism ... Youll be able to get any child past the North Pack Monadnock summit to the beautiful "Cliff Walk" vista!
