Tons of blue jays, squirrels, Jesus lizards, & other critters to observe. Only 2 picnic tables. Seems popular among locals. Small but not too crowded. What I loved the most was the large and plentiful trees that combined with all the green plants have created a shady oasis that is a soothing relief from the heat. I am not a fan of spiders but there is a species of a large spider that has created webs that hang like portraits. They are out of the way, but for those who care to marvel at these exotic marvels, they are pretty cool, and again, I don’t care for spiders, but they were cool to see.

Great for a quick stop or a walk around the trail. Not a big place but cozy. And by the way, there's a lot of snakes there in the early morning part. It truly live up to the name. There's some upgrade going on now... hopefully they'll add more features to enhance the park like workout machine to make the time worthwhile. All in all, it's a cool place to check out.

Really enjoyed the trek around the trail at Snake Warrior Island. The trail is to the left of the parking lot as you drive in. Don't be fooled by the big piles of dirt -- looks like they're doing some renovations and there's a smaller trail to the right of all the rubble. I didn't see it at first. I saw a number of birds including egrets, ibises, Red-Winged Blackbirds, and common moorhens. There were also iguanas and a big brown water snake. I'd recommend going earlier in the day because there's not much shade on the trail.

Such a hidden treasure. My favorite recreational space in the area

Absolutely. It's a public park. It's a great spot for nature shots. I knew of someone that used it as a venue for engagement photos.
Yes. I'm not sure if it's restricted to catch and release, but you can definitely fish
You will be making the right. Past the stop sign and it's on your right. Look for the sign.
I have not seen any but this is Florida so anything is possible. It is great place for a walk and they have plaques that tell the history of the place along the path.
Hello. Maybe close to a mile if you walk or ride in its entirety. Hope this helps.
Not to my knowledge and none recorded

Yes, you can.But it's necesary to bring your Florida fresh water fishing licence
They are, but not beyond the point of the trail walk and they have to be on a leash.
Not at this time. Call city hall and request that they put some on the property.
