I read somewhere thatan adult can buy a ticket and see the park for up to two hours and then return to the gate for a refund. (Allowing adults to see the Lego structures and stores, but no rides) Is that the current policy?

I do not recommend that. Also, I've never heard or seen that before.

I dont know for certain but I dont think so. There are no bracelets or tickets needed for rides or anything once inside the gates, there would be no way to regulate it. Groupon has ticket deals all the time though...
