I didn't scan any thing , grab my peanut, was seated alone and a waiter took care of everything , mask was off till I was finished, its texas for crying out load , if possible I would love to move there
You have to wear a mask inside until you get to your table and than you can take them off. You use your phone to scan the code to read the menu. Put your mask back in when you leave.
