Lone Star Backpacker
H3 has always been our go to when enjoying the stockyards. Since new ownership, they have removed one of our favorite meals, the Mexicali…ordered prime rib and it was bland and could barely chew it. I hope the new owners read these reviews and get this restaurant back to where it was!

If you want to be herded in and out this is your place. No customer service just turning tables. As far as the food, I have had better steaks at Western Sizzling. Sorely disappointed.

Fantastic place, & I'd say they have decent-sized portions! Their steak is great, but I have to say the pork & beans is AMAZING!!!

We didn't get to enjoy the restaurant but did get to stop into the saloon for a few drinks! The Buffalo Butt Beer was surprisingly pretty darn good! We met some very nice people and the bar staff were great to us as well! For sure will be stopping back in on our next trip thru to try the food!

I had to pay to park at one of those meters beside the hotel next to the restaurant. I want to say $7 or so.
Maybe the hotel. Whomever owns it is worth an eveningm
H3 is not Open on Thanksgiving.
Like most restaurants wear a mask till u receive a drink and if a wait they will text u or give a pager can't remember
Yes, we had 11 in our party. We had to wait about 45 minutes for them to get a table together, but it was a Friday night, so kind of expected a wait.
