As far as i know, As long as the vehicle is Titled in YOUR name, I think you can sign a affidavit and he MIGHT buy the vehicle that way. But just letting you and everyone know that in Florida, Its actually Illegal to sell a vehicle without a title !!. But as long as the vehicle is TITLED in your name, Most Junk Yards (not all of them) will allow you to sign a affidavit swearing that the vehicle IS YOURS and is free of any liens and allow you to sell it to them that way in lieu of a Physical Title. (They may deduct the cost of replacing the Title away from the payment for the Vehicle tho because any Vehicle on the property MUST have a Physical Title or Certificate of Destruction on file.... And it costs the Scrapyard the same amount to get a title as it would cost the Seller) i recommend getting the physical Title so you can get the most out of your vehicle !!. BTW, You must have a Clear Title to sell,Give your vehicle to ANYONE !!!. And disposing of a vehicle that has a lien is ILLEGAL
it depends on the situation. sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I'm sure the year, make, and model have something to do with it. I would just go up there and talk to the guy in person, he's very nice and easy to deal with.
