DISHONEST, thats the most accurate word well LIAR works too. Tamika. says shes the office manager, told me 5 months ago Heart of Florida incorrectly billed my bloodwork, SHE WAS TAKING CARE IF IT, the the 2nd notice came, this time the LIE was I am on a slidingscale and there never should have been a bill at all, SHE WAS TAKING CARE OF THIS, now it is in collections and my personal credit is being adversely effected ! Now the dishonest person ,Tamika, is HIDING, not returning my calls, I went to the office, she hid in her office and has not returned my calls or visit. I have called the main office, THEY DONT CARE, THEY DO NOTHING, THE company philosophy is JUST SCREW THE customers/SICK PEOPLE and TOO BAD FOR THEM. BEWARE OF tamika AND THE HEART OF FLORIDA, they have NO HEART. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Was sent here for a COVID test for my son. Was told to call when I got there, but there was 25 people ahead of me waiting to speak to someone. I didn’t want to sit on the phone for an hour just to tell them I am outside. So, I went inside to ask the nurse to come out for my son and they told me I couldn’t be in the building. Yelled it across the room. Yet, we were just inside the other location for an appointment. Makes no sense and they were extremely RUDE!!! I’m glad we don’t come here for our regular appointments. I will say, the nurse that did the COVID test was very sweet. The Marion oaks location with Dr. Diana and the entire staff over is amazing. They are so sweet and kind. This belleview location sucks.I would never bring my kids here for an appointment.

So, I came here because I needed prescription refills and they have a sliding scale, and I chose this location because it is very close to where I live. Alright, yay, back to the journey of talking to a new doc. So I get my appointment date, it arrives, and we talk about my health issues. I have multiple. My doc, Dr. Gonzales-Matos, is nice.... but there is a legitimate language barrier between us, and even between her nurse and I. We've also never even covered all my health issues (even with several visits! Probably mainly due to the fact that she didn't know how to put her listening ears on.... or, didn't really understand me, which is also possible, because she seemed confused by what I said several times) and, to top it ALL off.... she misdiagnosed me. I spent MONTHS getting a run-around from them, from miscommunications to a straight up LACK of communication (I waited a month to hear back about a referral, went in to HOF, was told they denied me, and was given a second application for a program that I had already TOLD them.... WOULDN'T WORK FOR MY SITUATION, which is why I needed the OTHER referral in the first place.) For my PCP, I am now switching to an NP (from a dr) at the Marion Oaks location, because she actually LISTENS to me, and has more medical knowledge. Took one look at me, realized my condition, and showed compassion. She also gave me the absolutely most vital information for seeing the type of doc I need. NO ONE ELSE AT HOF DID THAT. Her nurse was also kind. Essentially, here are my words of warning: if English is your only language, do NOT go to the HOF in Belleview. There are definitely language barriers, with everyone who works there. And, the front desk staff pretty much always have an attitude, at least with me. I have been nothing but polite to them, I have done nothing to deserve the attitudes and sour faces. And above all, do NOT wait until the last second to try to get prescriptions, give yourself a minimum of 1 week, because otherwise you may run out. Between Belleview HOF (not bothering to send the prescription) and the HOF pharmacy itself either not having the med in stock or just not contacting you to let you know it's been filled, it may take AT LEAST that long.

I can't even give this place one star, but Google won't let me post without rating at least one star. They take forever to follow through with a referral. My boyfriend had to go a different place to get another XRAY after he already got one in the ER because they need it for a referral. No one bothered to call me and tell me what was going on, I guess they expected us to wait, while he sits there with a broken hand. I had to call up there every day and get the run around on what's going on. The "medical assistant" named Jackie refuses to speak to me on the phone and the staff was rude and argumentative to my boyfriend when he went up there to the office to tell them what was going on. These people are so unprofessional and rude. There is no way that I would every recommend this place to anyone. They do not care about your health!!!
