What's the number to call yo make an appointment in Boston to get the passport the same day?? Or is it just walk office - Boston for same day passport??

I got my passport same day. I booked something online or by calling I don't remember. but when I booked it was the morning of or night before. I got there at 9am got processed in 2 hours. chilled out at a sport bar and picked it up after 4pm. jumped on a flight to China at 9pm. I had to have the flight booked and pay something like 200 dollar rush. Also I already had a non expired passport that had run out of pages. don't know if that matters
