Hi Jenni, thanks for your inquiry. Yes, someone can have their dog trained to assist them. DBL does not provide that type of training for people, as we only train our own acquired dogs. I would suggest that you reach out to Association of Professional Dog Trainers (ADPT) and research qualified trainers in your region, www.adpt.com. Good luck!

With some dogs their temperment makes it challenging to train them. Besides talking with a trainer consider getting a specially trained dog because the special tricks that make your life easier can make all the difference.

Sure... Some dogs are natural pick up on training, yet some dogs just don't have the disposition for it. Best to take to a dog trainer .
