I left something in my room and unfortunately they can't find it? What should I do?

I have done this before at this particular hotel. It took them a few days and I had to speak to several people but they did locate it. The main hotel manger was very helpful.

Ask to speak to head of house cleaning. They should know who cleaned the room. Then ask if thst person found what you left behind.
