The room was clean and comfortable; the shower did not disappoint. Rooftop pool with amazing city views from multiple angles, live DJ, great vibe. Very relaxing birthday getaway. However, the restaurant menu needs more food options. Not desirable at all. Overall a great experience.

I stayed at the hotel this past Mothers Day, the hotel was clean, very nice, and Tori gave me the massage of my life at their away spa!!! THE DOWNSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend booked us fir one night with the spa included.. We were told they were offering a bundle deal witch included one nights stay/spa/valet parking included/AND THE BUNDLE WOULD GIVE YOU $150 CREDIT ON YOUR BILL!!!!!… I thought I was a sweet deal so I took it. When I checked in I told the receptionist about the bundle deal, she said yes, we have down for the bundle - when you go to get your spa tell them to charge it to the room. I did exactly that. I never got my $150 credit, I’ve called so many times to fix the issue, of course no one can help me!!!! I’ve spoken to the director of the reception area who agreed there was a issue, said he would look into it and call me back, HE NEVER DID. can’t get in touch with him or anything!!!! I called the spa, because the discount was to be credited toward the spa services- they couldn’t help… I literally kept hearing “ I’m sorry there is nothing I can do”… I really thought this sad coming from such a high end hotel. The room was $500+/night, but they definitely have PIS-PO- CUSTOMER SERVICE! It’s the fact that they lie, and play all these dam games! Do not stay here! Do not!

This was a great hotel for my stay. The beds were so comfortable, I felt like I was in heaven. The rooms are so clean, and the large rooms have a living room, dining room, and the bathrooms are amazing. I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future. The staff members are very kind, and the restaurants are a great place to eat. The parking is a bit of a pain you valet. The garage is not free, and it can be quite expensive. Its right downtown so not many places to park except in the garage.

I’ve been to the W Hotel way too many times now, both to photograph my wedding couples get ready it to get ready and have their reception there (at the altitude club upstairs) and every single time the staff has been amazing, rooms are always clean and spacious. Overall, from the moment we leave our cars to the valet, to doing first looks around the hotel, to the last minute we leave for the ceremony elsewhere - the W Hotel team has been amazing hosts. From a photographer’s point of view, almost all the rooms I’ve been for getting ready photos has been spacious, well lit, had good backdrops to use for lay flat details, make up shots and such. The suites are big enough to host bigger wedding parties too - so that’s a plus. You definitely need a spacious room for your photographer/videographer to capture your start to your day from different angles. The pool patio that’s upstairs on the spa floor is great for first look and couple’s portraits. Even if the sun is up high, the neutral color space has a good reflection of even lighting. Hosting your reception at The Altitude is a great idea. If they still have it, they have a mirror tiled wall that makes a beautiful backdrop for cake photos, as well as the balcony for some night photos. The Altitude also has light colored walls/ceiling and will definitely make it way easier for your photo/video crew. Overall, I’d give this place 10/10. I always look forward to working with the W and will refer them to any of my couples that ask for a getting ready location in downtown Dallas! Thank you team W for always being amazing, positive, helpful, friendly and welcoming ♥️

It's right across the street, so perfect walking distance. The lobby bar is adjacent to Victory Plaza, so we just left from there and walked right up to the AAC.
