First time to try this hotel and we absolutely loved it. Staff was very friendly on check in and helpful throughout our stay. Loved the room. Had a hipster vibe, but was clean, well laid out, and quiet. Stayed on a high floor with a great view of the Stadler and parks. Great location within walking distance of dozens of fantastic bars, restaurants and downtown attractions.

I specifically reserved this hotel because it said room service was offered and I knew we would be getting back to our room late and would be hungry. The only good option was plant based beef jerky at the snack counter (I don’t recommend it) so we had to walk to 7-11 and eat convenience store hot dogs. If I knew this I wouldn’t have booked this hotel for $375! I would have booked Courtyard for less than half the price.

New Renaissance Hotel is “next level” for the atmosphere - they’ve put a lot of extra touches into decor and room extras - even a functioning record player - which my 12 yr old loved. I will say the retro feel is fun BUT noisy as heck with tile floors in the hallway you hear every open and close of the room doors. I can had someone knocking on a door at 3:30 am cause he lost his key but it was sooo loud I thought he was at MY door (he was two doors down.) Bar in lobby is nice if your a drinker (I’m not- but it’s fun atmosphere with a “taped” video playing music over the modern fireplace lots of lounge spots for people to hang out in! I would recommend to others who like this feel but likely not for myself! Enjoy pics below!

Name has changed to Renaissance Saint Elm from Cambria. They closed to change brand and I did my reservation through a third party. Called when they reopened to verify I actually had a reservation. Confirmed I did. Called morning of reservation. Again confirmed. Drove almost 3 hours there and tried checking in. Reservation cancelled.😲 Hotel was very gracious in upgrading us. 3rd party co I wont ever book with them again. Their credit card didn't work so it automatically, after they tried to run it and it was declined, cancelled our reservation. The rooms were nice but very dated. Linens were scratchy at best. Location was excellent. Hope they tart it up a bit. It needs some love.
