I was setting up a wedding reception. The staff seemed decent, if you're a private vendor the kitchen staff can be upsetting but some were okay. Other contractors had a more negative experience but for the most part the overall experience was a 4. They do have nice rooms where they host very nice extravagant parties and such. If i was here for leisure and for business I would hope to rate better than a 5 but until I can afford to have a all out party in one of there rooms it will only get a 3 star. And they do have valet parking or 7 dollar parking a 4 min walk around the corner. They have Starbucks inside, a souvenir shop in side, a snickers Is 4 bucks. Bottle of soda 6 bucks. Deodorant 6 bucks for small. But its conveniently made available and in stock.

First stop, VALET! AMAZING CREW! They’re the first people that you see before you even check in. I had multiple valets guys running to open my door and help me with my car. Check in was easy and fast, (we had Eric) he was extremely helpful with the details of the hotel and where to go since this was our first stay at this hotel. The only complaint I have is the bartenders on the poolside are rude, when we asked a simple question they brushed it away and rudely answered. Everything else was GREAT! The room is super clean, and they have room service for anything you need. Would definitely stay again, and planning on my next stay already.

Loved my entire stay here. I was treated well, the room was good (minus my mattress) and the staff was happy and helpful. The courtesy car was a life saver, thanks Greg. Eryk at the front desk was nice. The valet guys were top notch. Even the manager was nice.

Perhaps if it was not considered a five star hotel it would be worthy of higher than two stars, but you expect a certain level of service at a five star hotel. We received no bottles of water upon checking in. We had to call multiple times to get them to plug our Tesla into their only Tesla charger even though they confirmed twice that they would do it. Three out of the four times we called Valet they said via in automated recording that they were too busy and we would have to go down and show them our tickets. We had to call multiple times to get a refrigerator in our room. Their breakfast buffet while good was definitely not what you expect at a five star hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and again it was very much average with a fairly small standard bath.

Does not have an airport shuttle. Uber, Lyft or SuperShuttle are your best options.
Yes, mostly food with a splash of apparel and some grocery spots with in a mile or so.
Yes, the concierge services at the hotel can direct you and set this up for you.
They charge $32/day. There is a public lot just off Ross Ave. Where fountain place is that lets you park overnight for $5.
It's an outdoor pool (located on the roof), I'd assume there's a hot tub, but I'm not positive.
Yes, but it won't be easy. Look for a hotel near the "Dart light Rail" . Fairmont is about a 10 min walk from the West End Station.
They say it depends on your CC company. Ours was like a day
Check in 3pm, out 11am. Early check in can happen by request, but the cant commit till same day.
The hotel does not have a shuttle but is just a few blocks away from the DART station, which travels to and from the State Fair grounds several times a day.
There is a public parking 1 block from the hotel.
