Grass Shrimp is the secret. But they are very plentiful in the summer around the boat ramp. Usually someone willing to show you how if you haven't done it before.
Pan fish are bass to
I haven't been there in years . Sorry
Rick lived on that river as a child. If I'm not mistaken. Subject Matter Expert.
Yes and no! If you use a boat and move around, like the fish do, you should have fun catching plenty of, Large Mouth Bass, Blue Gill, or Catfish. This lake is loaded. However, if you stand on the dock and fish, you greatly reduce your chances of being successful. Winter months produce the most fish, as the water temperature drops and the fish become more active. Good luck.....
There's bass crappie bluegill catfish carp and you might get lucky and hook up with a tarpon
Try at the waterfall. Use little rattletrap to get the kingbass in summer.
I agree with Joshua bring grass shrimp or in the summer we net our own grass shrimp out off the weeds in the water around the docks or the other side of the boat ramp. Just make sure you have a good fresh water bait net.
