Yes they sold, the husband of the owner died, and it was too hard for the lady to support by her self, the only bad thing is the workers i know then for long time i think for 18 years they works for then,is 2 sad because it was a very good place to eat, Salvadorian food,
Ever since the long time owner died the son stayed and still ran the restaurant. Until the mother decided to sell and instead of selling to her son whom of which already knew everything and did everything for the restaurant she sold to the lady that owns the salvadorean/Central american shop by katella and beach. And the lady was going to bring in her workers so the original waiters/waitresses that were at el carbonero for more than 12years were left without a job from one day to another. Now its called Rio or something like that 😕😕 Thats all the chisme I got but could be wrong... lol
We spoke with one of the waiters and he said the location was sold. He didn't give us much other details.
