When I was looking for a new optometrist on Yelp, I saw their photo and thought "oh cool, was this a Halloween photo?!" As I kept scrolling I quickly noticed it was much more awesome than that! The whole place is star trek themed and makes you think you just walked into a space ship! Props are awesome and very well made, shared photos with my prop-making friends who were equally impressed. So far as the appointment itself, my optometrist was very knowledgeable, way more so than my last place, and I felt very confident in their care. As for my glasses, they turned out perfect and I couldn't be happier! If I could give them 100 stars I would!

Dr. Wada runs a highly efficient facility where you get your examination and concise explanations in easily understandable terms of your eye condition immediately and many choices on how to proceed. An excellent eye care facility.

When I walked in I was worried that the doctor was only for kids, but when I began my appointment (they started quickly and I arrived a half hour early!) I was quickly at ease. The staff member who did my preliminary eye tests was sweet, with a kind, thoughtful demeanor and very thorough with verbal directions. I easily understood where to look and when to blink. The doctor himself was efficient and charismatic. After talking to him I learned the Star Trek themed office is entirely his creation. Even though Star Trek isn't my cup of tea, I loved the passion and unashamed indulgence of simple happiness. He also talked with me about my interests as he went through all of the tests and health information - I felt like he was genuinely a caring and loving person, and simply because of his honestly and vulnerability I felt I could trust him with my health completely... And then he proved I could with a thorough and well explained eye examination. I also opted for their extra "optic scan" which can take a picture of the inside of the eye and check for its health. As I am aging it was reassuring to see that the scan came back healthy, and I even got my own copy of the pictures. Neat to see the inside of my eyeball! I am excited to have found such a wonderful office to look after my eyesight. Thank you for your wonderful service!
