It was a less than 10 min walk over the train overpass and down the stairs. Would take longer to drive.
Caltrain is very close and definitely within walking distance. From the hotel, just walk over the train overpass and you'll be there!
I am not sure about the CalTrain station but if you call the hote, they could tell you. The front desk staff is helpful. They have a shuttle to and from the airport.
