This hotel is very budget-level. The lobby is small and plain and the rooms have tiny bathrooms and no counter space around the little sink. Things are also shabby and in need of upgrading. The "breakfast" is a joke--orange flavored punch and greasy plastic wrapped Danish. We were very disappointed in this place but it was quiet and very close to SFO.

Absolutely terrible. Rooms are insanely small, the bathroom barely fits one person. We found fecal matter on the shower curtain that my 12 year old pointed out upon arrival that obviously wasn’t cleaned. Our ac wasn’t working and our room almost got to 80 degrees. It took me borderline harassing them multiple times to fix it. I had to call many times to ask them to take our trash out of our 3 gallon trash can over our 3 night stay with 4 people that they changed once and again it was only changed AFTER I brought it to their attention multiple times and began to get frustrated. The staff has terrible customer service skills, specifically Alma. I brought these issues to her attention politely and she argued me on them saying it’s my fault or it’s been handled when it wasn’t handled and she would interrupt me while I was trying to voice my concerns. When I spoke with the manager Eric about the poor treatment and my kids burning up in our room and having to navigate around trash, I basked for a partial refund due to the terrible service. He refused and began to pin the blame on US as the customer as well. We come to SF frequently and will NEVER be staying here again. Stay AWAY.

My husband was out of his element being in the big city. He was stressed and worried about me being at UCSF for an in-patient visit for testing. Although the room he stayed in needed some updating, it was clean, safe and perfectly sufficient for resting/sleeping in between trips to UCSF. We really appreciate the staff and management who were so kind and courteous, which really helped my husbands comfort during a trying time.

CATFISH. This hotel is much less renovated and less clean than advertised on its website. Trust all the other reviews! Check in process was standard. The hallways reeked of marijuana and smoke. We were scared to enter our room based on this, but thankfully there was no odor. The rooms are clearly very old with a superficial modernization, but still has cracks in the walls and a very old feeling. Most notable is the mold and mildew we could see in the shower (picture attached). I personally felt dirty staying here and next time will spring another $20-30 dollars for a more reputable name. Would avoid.

Parking was horrible just to drop some one off. The elevate was out of order had to walk upstairs to room assistant was not offered, i did not stay. Will not go back to that location again.
I dont think so but id check the website. The lobby does have a long list of departures/arrivals and delay info on the tv
Call the hotel to confirm pick up time. Go to the shuttle pick up area (level 2 at terminal 1 or 2, level 3 at term 3. https://www.flysfo.com/content/hotel-shuttles
There's a Safeway store on Orange Avenue by El Camino Real. You'll go west on Grand Ave about 1.75 miles then make a left on Orange but Google it first. You can purchase liquor on downtown Grand Ave close to the hotel but pay a higher price
