Clean and quiet rooms. Free laundry! Adequate breakfast. Be ready for the $13 parking surcharge, which isn't too bad in this area.

While the location is far from being ideal (it is simply too far from the city), everything else is great. They even provide you with all main kitchen appliances like stovetop, microwave, toaster and fridge.

If you are ever in need of a warm, clean, and comfortable hotel, Larkspur Landing is the place to stay. The staff was so nice and professional. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. There was a full kitchen, desk, ironing board and iron, and hair dryer. They offer free Wi-Fi service for their guests and continental breakfast with coffee or tea in the early morning. There is an additional $13 parking fee. If I'm ever in need again, of a room in the San Francisco area, this is where I'll stay.

It's at least a 20 minute drive north. The hotel has a shuttle that drops you off in town and from there you can walk to Chinatown, like I did which wasn't super far. The Golden Gate bridge is even further so you can Uber/Lyft to get there or you can walk which will take a while, but it'll be an adventure.
We took the free airport shuttle bus to the airport to pick up the train. Then we took the took the train down to fisherman's wharf. It took about 45 minutes this way. The hotel offers free shuttle rides to giradelli Square during some points of the weekend if you can line it up. Ghirardelli square isn't far from fisherman's wharf. If you get down there you can take a street car to the wharf or Uber
