I would like to say that the customer service here is top notch. I’ve never actually experience customer service at a bank where I was address by my last name and resolving my issue was their goal. Helen D is a saint, she resolve all my issues and she even followed up with me later in the day to make sure that my problems were resolved. I will be a customer here indefinitely and I highly recommend this credit union

WORST BANK EVER Lost $891, wire transfer. San Mateo Credit Union's fault 100% Treated me and foreigners like 2nd class citizens, like animals. No companies work with them Advise you to run away if ever nearby or thinking of banking with this (govt. should look into taking away their operating liscense) last place, horrible bank. Amazing bank ! I love that there new ATMs let you pay your loan! The only downside is that it doesn’t give you the remaining balance but it’s not to hard to wait in line if you need to talk to one of the workers to find out your remaining balance

Think it is $100. Then once a member with a lousy credit score I was able to get a secured visa credit card with an $1100. Deposit. That credit card had a $1000. Limit. After 6 months to 1 year of good history of credit payments and transactions, you will have a chance to reassess and apply for an actual credit card. Once approved your $1100 deposit is returned to you. Good luck
