The past Saturday I was window shopping at the beautiful new location of MB of SF. I had some cars in my mind but not ready to purchase right away. I was thinking to go to the Belmont dealer afterwards. While I was walking around in the parking lot, Bill stopped the golf cart he was driving and asked me if anything he could help. I said yes, I was interested in replacing my old ML320. He asked questions to gather what my needs were and helped me to narrow it down to GLC. He got the key for a car loaded with a lot of options to let me test drive. He showed me all the functions of the options to let me decide if those are important to me. He was not trying to sell me the fully loaded car but to give me the knowledge to make an informed decision. Based on the knowledge, I chose a different GLC with the necessary options I like. The car is very easy to drive, quiet and smooth. I love it. However, I was still not ready to purchase. Bill talked to the manager and came back with a good discount if we moved forward to sign a deal that day. Bill was very patient with me, he spend 2-3 hours to show me around and test drive. He is very knowledgeable, with answers for every question I asked. He put so much effort, the car is what I like, and he negotiated a good price for me. I felt he was not trying to sell me the car but like an experienced friend to help another friend. So I decided to take the offer. Besides Bill, I greatly appreciate the help from Raphael, the finance manager. He is very knowledgeable as well. He explained to me clearly the difference between the pros and cons of lease or purchase, the options for service contract and extended warranty, etc. At first, I decided to do lease, so we did the lease paperwork signing. Then, I changed my mind to purchase but I didn't have money ready yet. They were able to accommodate that by setting the check clear date a little later for me to transfer money. After the second round of paper signing, I requested to update something, so we went through the third round of paper signing. I felt very bad to add extra work to Raphael but he was very patient with me, told me don't worry about it and it was his job to make customer happy. Thank you Bill and Raphael to make my new car purchase a pleasant experience!

I dont want to throw the saleperson under the bus because i wasnt sure she knew what was going on but the manager His name is Rod )who trying to rip me off adding 1000 for no reason. I was told it was registration fees but it disappeared after Rod tried to negotiate and after reading the second offer sheet it was even more confusing with numbers that didnt make sense. So here is where the story gets more pathetic. When i left that day which was Tuesday, I didnt take my ID. I realized that the next day. On Friday morning I was going to confront them about the discrepancies, but i wanted my ID back first and then talk to them. So i waited about 10mintues and was told my ID was lost. Apparently the cleaning lady threw it away. Rod the gut who was trying to rip me off was holding it. No real apology or i will do what it takes to fix it, Just "I cant find your ID, sorry". This whole ordeal cost me gas and $31 for a replacement ID. I have bought over 10 cars in my lifetime and never have I had this kind of experience. If you do end up going there make sure you triple check the numbers.

Inability to obtain basic information from sales with decent decorum. After receiving a blanket "here's your price" email with only one figure and no specifics (only to later find out their lease factor rate was marked up higher than competitors), we we received a follow up email with "if you're seriously looking - let us know". Never have I experienced any communication that was this poor from an inquiry to purchase a vehicle.

This Mercedes dealership is worth passing. We leased a new Mercedes from this San Francisco dealership on 8th Street before they moved to South San Francisco. Sales team let's call them ("Bill" , "Fernando" ) and Finance ("Katrina") work together to game you. There isn't customer service but how much they can rip you off. We were new to leasing and this is not the dealership to learn from. We ended up paying $6700 above MSRP (before taxes, “fees”, documentation++) not for the loaded options car we negotiated for and NOT for the car we test drove. How come? Total scam. Fraud is another word. We signed the paperwork, VIN # etc. And we were unaware they switched cars on us. The car we test drove with the options was NOT the car they delivered to us. Make sure you get the car you test drove!! Our sales rep "Bill" did not deliver the car to us, did not walk us through the car, he disappeared and the guy that did give us the car - even took the wheel locks, the little box from the glove compartment. Really?! - we asked what that was for. And he said "you won't need that" and pocketed it. It's a $150 value BTW. We didn't learn all of this, call us naive, until we went to another dealership and learned that the options we thought we paid for, we didn't get. Before changing dealerships, after 1 year: We went back for the 1 year service and asked for a loaner car. Booked the appointment 1 month a head. No loaner car. The woman service rep assigned to us totally failed. "Sal" the service manager said it was a mistake. No loaner car. Cost of the service super charged as they decided without us asking for a "detail"of the car. That's an added $600+ service cost and the first year service cost over $1400. Dealership has NO ethics and total scam. A couple months ago we went to Autobahn, another Mercedes dealership, bought a Mercedes E class. What a difference!! We also moved to Marin and service our leaser car now out of that dealership there. Completely different experiences. We realized how scammed we were from San Francisco. San Francisco Mercedes dealership now moved to South San Francisco is disresputable in every aspect; unless you want to waste money, be scammed on and be treated like poop: GO ELSEWHERE! The family who owns this delearship needs to sell the dealership and get new blood to manage it or they are in cahoots with these scams they pull on unsuspecting customers.
