If I was involved in a car accident should I speak to the defendant's insurance company if they call me?

Hi Roni, thanks for reaching out. You are not obligated to speak with the other party's insurance company after a car accident. We recommend that you do not make any recorded statements with their insurance before speaking to a personal injury lawyer who will make sure your rights are protected. Hope this helps!

I would consult with a car accident attorney, because any recorded statement can and will be used against you. Insurance companies are in the business of making money, and doing everything they can to hold on to that money. I've had my share of challenges with insurance companies, and will no longer deal with them, without the help of an experienced attorney.
