Diabetes is treatable just as Dr Malek says, and we both agree. The ONLY way it can and will be your demise is IF it goes untreated. See your Primary Care Physician ("PCP" or "family Dr") first to ensure the Diabetes blood sugar levels are within range because if not then there's a significantly higher risk of, among other affects, blindness, fingers/toes and feet/hand amputation as well as many more problems that you WON'T want. Get that blood sugar regulated first which is mandatory. If your Primary Care Physician isn't helping enough, find another who will whom you feel comfortable with. Dr Malek WILL do EVERYTHING possible to help with other problems related to Diabetic Nephropathy as well as all other pain issues you may also have. Dr Malek considers it an honor and privilege to help and thoroughly enjoys seeing his patients get better. Dr Malek is the most kind, knowledgeable, helpful, caring, thoughtful, dependable, and more to help everyone be as pain-free as possible.

That is not necessarily true, you may have diabetic nephropathy, which is treatable and symptoms respond to therapy and management of pain and dysfunctions. Your most important goal is to stop the damage by strict control of your blood sugar, as if your life depends on it, because it does. Please get an appointment and we will be honored to provide a helping and caring hand the best we can. Please let me know if you have further questions. Thank you for reaching out to us Dr Malek
