I was there 39 years ago at the 1983 US festival on metal Sunday and there was no amphitheater there at the time, just a giant stage. And over 670,000 people.

When we were there, it was during graduation and there were hundreds of people there. A class of over 500 plus their family and friends. Hope that helps.
