Those shoes were probably in our designer section. Since some of our donations are high-quality, lightly-used designer brands, we have a section specifically for those items. They are priced differently than the rest of the store in accordance with their value. This allow us to generate appropriate revenue from each sale in support of Alpha Resource Center. It's still a thrift store, but they have become much better at spotting the good stuff so prices have gone up.
