Can get quite busy in the afternoon to the point that it’s hard to find open machines. Not the newest or fanciest 24hr, most of the stuff is in decent shape. Pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam are pretty sweet though.

There's some fantastic features the gym carries as well as some minor downsides. I know the staff can't really do much about the grunting naked man pacing the shower room proudly advertising his half chub, but maybe you could fix the shower heads that don't work? No reason for a gym like this to be sub par In any category

I live in Oregon. I have a full National membership with 24 Hour Fitness. I was in SB visiting my family for Christmas and wanted to bring my brother with me to this gym for a one-time visit. Normally, I could use a Buddy Pass in this situation, where I can bring anybody with me for free for a few days. This is advertised on the main 24hr website. I have used this Buddy pass before at other clubs with no problems, both as the buddy and the membership holder. At the very least, my guest should at least been offered some type of reasonable day pass deal, like $10 or $20. But no. The guy at the front desk told us they were straight up not doing buddy passes at all. "For the holidays". This makes no sense. No explanation was given. He didn't even look at my membership type or anything, just brushed us off. I doubt any other club has this weird "holiday" excuse for arbitrarily suspending the buddy pass deal. My brother was not even offered any type of day pass deal. The only option offered was for him to purchase a week pass for $50. We didn't want to use it for a week, just one day. $50 is a huge ripoff. So we just left. There is something very shady about how this club is run. I also didn't like how dark and dingy it is in there.

I stayed in Santa Barbara for a couple days and went to 24 hour fitness because it was the closest gym from my hotel. I went there in the morning to ask about the cost of a single day entry and the lady at the front desk told me it was 25$ so I told her that I would be coming in later in the morning to do my workout. When I showed up again, the manager told me that they were not doing single day entries and that I had to get the 1 week pass which was 50$. I was surprised because obviously when I asked 1 hour earlier they told me the one day pass was available. When I confronted him about the situation he said that they don’t do one day passes during the holidays which frankly doesn’t make much sense. Anyway the manager “discounted” the price to 40$ Which is a joke. i found this behavior very unprofessional and if they had been clear with me from the beginning I would’ve went to one of the other gyms without wasting my time but since I had plans later and had to get a workout done quickly, I had no other option.

Nickita, there is parking structure next to Marshall's where you can park. The first 75 minutes are free and then it is $1.50 per hour.
Yes, we are open normal operating hours. Check your club for details.
No they give you like a trial for a couple of days. You have to sign up if you want to keep going.
