If you are interested in wildlife it is an enjoyable experience. Flamingo Gardens is stocked with rescued animals, according to one of the handlers. We walked through the park for two hours and the time passed quickly.
It is a place to learn about Florida's flora and fauna. They have lots of animals you can observe or feed, including a really extensive bird of prey area (hawks, eagles, etc.). It is pretty fun of you are interested in animals and wildlife, but it is probably only an afternoon's worth of activity.
It's a great place for a morning or afternoon, we got through everything in about 3 hours. We had a great lunch under the tiki hut and watched the flamingos do their thing. All said it was a great botanical garden with a decent amount of animals.
Very tranquil and educational, they also have the highest point in all of Broward County.
There are quite a few animals, birds, and fish. There are food trucks where you can get food, there's a gift shop. There's a historical tour all around the property. If that sounds fun to you, then, yes, it's fun.
Yes lots and lots of plants and animals we had great time
