according to Laverne news it is being refurbished for electrical upgrades they're updating the lights in the parking lot and other lights it hasn't been updated since it was built in the 70s
Major construction site there now! It is now being demo’d, Lots of concrete rubble and heavy equipment on site, surrounded with privacy (temporary) fencing. Yesterday I heard jackhammering, and before that the building had been tented. I will keep searching for what the plans are; of course, it is close to La Verne City Hall - perhaps I’ll drop in there and inquire. RRH, Claremont.
