Beautiful view of La Verne & hiking trails. Came on anniversary in memory of a close friend that passed 15 years ago. Beautiful place to recall happy memories hiking togetherβ€οΈ Brought my puppy πΆ

This is your perfect beginner off road trail for those interested in mountain biking. It has the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting. The steady incline, creek crossings and occasional loose gravel are things to watch out for. Parts of this trail are narrow and it is shared by hikers and horses - so watch your downhill speed and make way when possible. Keep your car at the parking lot next to the elementary school and ride to the trailhead.

This was a great hike. We took our dogs. It wasnβt too difficult. A few little streams to cross. Good amount of shade. Watch for bikes! I would do it again.

This is a wonderful hike, not too difficult (until later parts) and is totally viable as a quick family walk or a 6 mile, more strenuous hike. The nature here is gorgeous, with the large oak trees and the stream right next to the trail! Definitely recommend a visit. It is not a loop, so there will be parts where you need to backtrack to get back to the trailhead, though it's always nice to see the trail from different perspectives! :)

Weekends yes. Weekdays it's much better. Over the past few years I've noticed many more mountain bikers. You've got to be super careful & keep your ears open
Just west of Marshall Canyon street on Lemonwood street in La Verne.
I would call them
