Their prices are the same as most other breakout games I've been to in other states. The time they take developing the clues and solutions has to be taken into account. I would definitely recommend using a Groupon as well.

Totally worth it
It is worth the money I thought it was expensive at first too until I did it and I really enjoyed the experience it's not something that you'll do a bunch of times so I don't blame them for hiking the price up a little bit.
There's a lot of tech (cameras, microphones, tablets etc) and staff involved. Also, the game runs whether there are two or eight people in the room (not to mention that some might not run at all). I think it has to be inflated a little to make the business model sustainable. Like others have mentioned, Groupon often runs a discount: check there!
The prices here are comparable with other places I've been as well.
