This has not been experience at all. You are seated by a hostess, and I have always been served within a very appropriate amount of time. I dined at Carrabba's with a party of 12 this week, and we were very pleased.
That's not a question, should be in reviews. Usually they sit you down so maybe the staff didn't know you came in and sat yourself down without waiting to be seated.
