Let's clarify. It's correct that BC uses that database to look for potential actors for their clients. But once an actor has a few gigs under his belt, it's not a bad thing to have an agent. An agent works for the actor, a casting agent works for the producers.
No they are not a agent. They are a casting company. You don't want a agent really. Make a profile on Agency Pro and they will send jobs, that you fit. Then you will have to go on casting calls and see if you are with the client is looking for. Or they will submit headshots to some clients.
