This is misleading. They do sell dogs for adoption. $175.00 for y young adult dogs and $200.00 for puppies. I believe$45.00 for seniors?

What's your question my friend?

Tanesha Wilde | Aug 31, 2019

Sure it can be a little expensive adopting a pet, but you’re doing a good deed, and thanks for that. If you were to buy/obtain from elsewhere, it would be so much more expensive! Comparatively, this is cheap, given that pets are vaccinated and neutered/spayed. ALL my animals are adopted/rescued...i would do it again.

Go look for the same breed at breeders price. Then come back and complain about 200 for an animal

Adoption fees are reasonable considering that you are saving a life, you are getting a dog that is up to date on all vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered. All of which would cost much more at your vet's office. The fact that they also require that your take the dogs to a vet to get him on heartworm and flea/tick prevention is a no-brainer and an absolute necessity if you are a responsible pet owner...especially in SW Florida.

What is your question? Happy to assist. I highly recommend adopting from this shelter!

I got my 10m pup for 35

Ms. L Nelson | Aug 31, 2018

Yes it is expensive to adopt there. My doggie was 200.00 or so. For shots and all the needs of the dog. Plus within a month they request the dog to be taken to a vet to establish heart worm medicine and check up.
