Since when can't you call the hospital to talk to a nurse about a serious question about myself ? I figured I called and get some advice before I went to go get seen. I didn't think it was that big of a problem. Is this true ??

Yes because they can become liable for you. If something happens you can sue the hospital. You are better off searching webmd
