Not sure where u heard that... That's false info u were given. The only time you don't need a credit check is if you're buying cash or come with a loan approval from your bank. I never heard of a $5 car. That's crazy.
I didn't see that but I was shopping used not new. Nobody drives off any lot without a credit check. That determines your interest rate.
