Multi purpose venue. As we were enjoying a concert, they were able to have a large graduation in a different area. The accommodations were good, sounds, light and atmosphere

We had a wonderful experience watching Little Shop of Horrors. The theater was small but all the seats had perfect views of the stage. The actors very fantastic, BRAVO!!

Best live show performances! Perfect audio and overall sound quality! Great customer service! Employees really go above and beyond to help in any way possible! I have seen many Broadway shows and I have had multiple season passes! I recently saw two different top notch comedians. No complaints! Great venue!

The Straz is THE premier theater in Tampa Bay with the Jaeb, Morsani and Ferguson Theaters being the ones we frequent the most since it opened in 1987. In fact, we bought the Broadway series that year just so we could see CATS. We have loved most of the shows that we have seen in these theaters, especially the Broadway shows. Even in the nose bleed section (all the way at the top) for TOMMY, we enjoyed the show. At Tuesday’s 7:30 DEAR EVAN HANSEN show, on 2/1/22, approaching the entrance to the theater, I was asked for a negative CoVid test or my vaccination card (this is what I had). I also walked through a metal detector and screening (my pulse was looked into). In my seat, I sat next to a chatty gentleman on my left and 10 empty seats to my right. He was attentive during the show, but after intermission I chose to sit in one of the empty seats next to me. I could see better. This show was fantastic! Of the 8 parts, four were played by understudies, and all 8 players were phenomenal. The educational programs are first rate, and heavily attended. The Center also has an app for enhanced listening in Morsani Hall for the hearing impaired. Upon request, the visually impaired can request audio description and use the same app in the Morsani. I believe this feature is only available n this hall for the Broadway Series, for the Saturday 2PM show. It would be nice to know if it is offered for other shows or in the other theaters. All of the staff, especially the theater ushers, are amazing. They are friendly, accommodating, and pleasant. Water is permitted in Morsani Hall ($3 for a bottle of Dasani), but no other food or beverages are permitted at this time (2/1/22). I believe the Jaeb has more relaxed rules in place since they have tables and chairs, and for past shows they have sold alcohol and soft drinks. We watched SPAMILTON in this theater twice! It was so good. The parking is the worst part of attending shows at the Straz. THAT is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. In the past 35 years, condos, apartment buildings, and hotels have replaced ground parking which was convenient and fairly priced. The Poe Garage used to have a walking bridge to the Straz that gave walkers covering if it rained. Now, you must bring an umbrella or wear a raincoat. Valet parking and self-parking on site is also diminished. With all of the road work in the area, driving to and from can also be hazardous.

Yes
Center Circle and Center Friends are Straz Center donors. The difference between Circle and Friends is how much was donated.
2002? Don't know about that but it was just there in February 2018.
Yes they do
The Straz offers valet parking and there are several other options that are close by and economical. The Poe Garage used to be my go to, but I have also found the Royal Regional Lot to be a good alternative if you are o.k. with walking a little further. The Barrymore Hotel was doing parking, as well as the Anchor Garage and the newer Times Garage. If you go on the website, you can reserve in advance so that you know you have a parking spot during peak times. I have found it to be cheaper to show up and pay vs. paying ahead of time.
I was there on 4/23/22. Nothing is required.
Go to the web site; it clearly says on the first page that after march 7., masks are not required! None required
It's part of the Straz Center.
Hi, Jean. The seats are not assigned until after all the the renewing subscribers have had a chance to renew their seats. Once that has occurred then all new subscribers will be assigned seats. A Ticket Sales Office representative should be in touch when the seating assignments start to discuss seating options with you.
Meh
Served at the small lobby concession but not at tableside. You may bring snacks & drinks into the theater.
William F. Poe garage is convenient. Entrances is on Ashley Dr. and on Cass St.
I agree, call the ticket office.
We took one to every show but I kept in my purse while going in..
Contact the center.
Sorry not a clue! Perhaps call the office on Monday? Call & ask someone in the box office? Perhaps they can point you in the right direction. Good Luck!
People have freedom of speech. Call that organization if you want their viewpoint.
The Straz recommends you were something comfortable but you can dress up if you like.
Call them. We are Google users like you.
Shouldn't be a problem.
There is some on the east side of the building. Also right there is the Tampa Bay Times building. This is a pay lot BUT I think they might have to let you park for free in the handicapped spaces...not 100% sure though.
I would think it's private if it's named after him. just like amilie areana they pay to have there name contracted for so many years it will change one day
What in the world is your question?
Best thing is to call them!
Yes we do
Not sure we always get there 45 minutes early and its open
Hi! Call the Ticket Sales Office at 813-229-7827 and I’m sure they can put you in touch with the right person for that.
Ticket prices vary depending on the show and where you sit and possibly other factors. You will need to check the website for pricing.
Yes Feb 2019
Paid seats only. No lap "tickets."
Yes i thank they do . you have to ask for it
In addition to musicals and concerts, dramas, comedies, comedians, dance performances, opera, lectures.
There are so many events and Broadway performances that happened there that your best bet is to look on the website as I am not sure that they pay attention to their Google page.
My recommendation is that if your looking for a serious answer you call the county and ask. It's not the Straz's responsibility to fund and supply parking. It's the cities job.
Gallery seats are most economical. You are up high and get a full view of stage
Some local parking structures now offer pre-paid parking.
Most people dress formal but, there isn't an enforced dress code.
