You said something about a victim. Is there a concern that someone may want your harmed? From repairing my brakes I do not think it can just be moved without the procedure you talk about.

You could call and ask to speak to a service advisor.

So normally no brake shoes cannot but under extreme conditions it might such as if the spring loaded keeper pin fails or is damaged if someone who is a tech they may know how to do this but what's most likely is that as the pad wore out the hydraulic cylander moved further out in its bore and hit a rough spot leaking fluid out

Just curious if I was a victim of vandalism, or is it possible for the shoe to move from where it belongs to not where it belongs causing the fluid to completely leak out leaving me with no brakes , to me it doesn't seem logical or safe for a shoe to be able to move on it's own ??? Thank u for ur help
